Augmentative Communication Resources for the New Year

It's almost here. 2017 is just around the corner. How's the view as you look out on the coming year? Is the outlook bright and promising or does it seem cloudy? Is the road straight and clear or does the path disappear around a bend?

When the scene ahead includes augmentative communication, the prospect could be a little more complicated than it might be otherwise.

Thankfully, there is a clutch of hard-working professionals and concerned partners willing to guide, reinforce, and encourage others on the journey. From therapists and teachers to online groups of people who have been there themselves there are plenty of places to find new ideas and helpful reassurance

And we'd like to be part of that supportive community.

To fortify those working to communicate using AAC, CoughDrop has compiled several resources which we hope will strengthen families and make AAC life and learning a little bit easier.

Take a quick tour of some of the AAC tools available through CoughDrop. Add some to your communication tool box (and toss some aside that may not work for you).

But most of all, know that we want to be a partner with you in this communication journey and we'll do all we can to help you as we all move forward together.

Have a happy -- and communicative -- new year!
