Off to ASHA on a mission
This week we are headed to the 2016 ASHA convention in Philadelphia.
We look forward to the chance to rub shoulders with parents, SLPs, asssitive technology specialist, and AAC supporters and users of all sorts (not to mention a great Philly cheese steak sandwich). We love being able to talk about, well, talking with others who are working to make struggling voices heard.
Communication is something we are passionate about. It is something we work for every single day. Having the chance to take that message to every corner of the country is a powerful responsibility, and we take it seriously.
So while we love it when people stop by our booth (booth #741 this time around) and we love to smile and chat about CoughDrop and all the features that make it different and better, we don't fly off to conferences across the country just for fun.
We're trying to make a difference in the world, we're trying to bring people together, we're trying to help people be heard one voice at a time.
Because at the heart of it all, that's what really matters. Your voice. My voice. Each person, touching the lives of others and having the chance to learn and grow and interact with the world -- that's what we are aiming for.
Conference by conference, booth by booth, we'll spread the word that communication counts, and do all we can to make it happen.
